In business since 1963 Ed Mason- Gunsmiths is equipped and experienced to handle any service on your firearms. Having four full time professional gunsmiths on staff allows us to give your gun the utmost care and personal attention. Each of our gunsmiths has his specialty as well as being familiar with every aspect of the gunsmithing trade. Your gun will be serviced, test fired if necessary, and rechecked by at least one other of our gunsmiths.

Company Profile

Ed Mason Gunsmiths, Inc started as a  small one man shop in 1963.  The demand for personalized professional service increased and in 1971  Ed Mason joined Dowdle Sports to provide service and support to the sportsmen of the Memphis, Tennessee area. That mutually beneficial teaming has continued to this day.

Bob Mason joined Ed Mason- Gunsmiths in 1973 and was in apprenticeship (in the old world fashion) until 1980 when he was offered partnership in the firm. As business continued to increase so did our number of technicians. Today we employ four full time gunsmiths and demand for our services continues to rise .
